Kindergarten B Class

Dear Kindergarten Parents,

        It is with great pleasure that I welcome your child to St. Agatha School and to my classroom.  I am looking forward to a very exciting and rewarding year.  My objective is to provide your child with an atmosphere of interest, discipline and motivated learning.  Helping me to achieve this will be my assistant Mrs. Sandy.  We would like to thank everyone for coming to Open House! Together we will make this year a success.

School Hours:    School hours are from 8:00 am to 2:30 pm.  You may drop your child off at the classroom door.  Students will be dismissed outside at the designated covered sidewalk (next to the church).  Students need to be dropped-off between 7:40am and 8:00am.  If they are tardy and arrive after 8:00am, they will need to get a tardy pass from the school office in order to come into class.

 

Lunch/Snack:  Please be sure to always turn in your monthly order form on time and make sure to settle your account before it has a negative balance. Lunch boxes need to be labeled with your child's name.  Snacks are provided daily.

 

Mass Attendance:   St. Agatha requires that all students attend mass weekly.  If you attend mass at St. Agatha , you will need to turn in on Mondays the mass attendance cards.  If you attend mass at another church, please bring in on Monday the signed church bulletin - with your child's name on it.

IMPORTANT NOTICES

***We would like to thank all of our families for the wonderful donations to our classroom. These will help us give the children a better learning environment.

***Please check your child's folder daily for homework assignments, bulletins or notes from me.***

***ALL FOLDERS NEED TO BE RETURNED TO SCHOOL DAILY!!!  PLEASE ENSURE THAT YOUR CHILD COMES TO SCHOOL EVERY DAY WITH HIS OR HER FOLDER.  THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT IN ORDER FOR US TO BE ABLE TO SEND HOMEWORK ASSIGNMENTS AND ANY IMPORTANT SCHOOL NOTICES*

SPECIAL AREA CLASS SCHEDULE

P.E. will be on Mondays.  Your child is to wear the complete PE uniform to school.  White sneakers are required.

 

 

  Computer Class will be on Tuesdays.

 

      Spanish will be held on Thursdays & Fridays.

      Art classes will be on Tuesdays & Wednesdays.

 

       Music class will be Wednesdays & Thursdays.

 

 

Library is on Mondays and Fridays.  Your child will be checking books out of the library, please have them bring the books back the following assigned Library class date.
