Group 1 Physical Geography Identify & Illustrate On a map of Mexico draw the physical features, such as: Maps of Land forms, Body of Waters, Climate and Population Density. Pictures/drawings of Animal/Plants- Identify in which region they are found
Group 2 Culture & History Identify & Illustrate: Early civilizations in Mesoamerica, the Olmecs, the Mayas, the Aztecs, the Tarabumara the Huichol.
Group 3 Prepare a Timeline identifying historical events from Colonial Mexico through present day. (include important historical persons)
Group 4 Religion Describe and illustrate practice of ancient religions and conversion to Catholicism (dont forget the importance of the Virgin of Guadalupe)
Group 5 Mexican Art Identify & Illustrate Muralist: David Alfaro Siqueiros Diego Rivera, Frida Kahlo, Jose Clemente Orozco
Group 6 Music/Dance Identify & Illustrate: Mariachis, Traditional Dances (e.g.: Voladores, Tiger dancers, Quetzal, Tlaxcala, Conchero)
Group 7 Ancient/Modern Architecture Identify & Illustrate Mayan Temples Aztec Temples Modern Structures
